We designed a ride-matching platform to improve equitable access to transportation for underserved groups in Ithaca, following the Universal Traveler design process. Through interviews, surveys, expert evaluations, and iterative prototyping, we identified key mobility barriers faced by low-income students and students with disabilities. These insights guided the development and refinement of HopIn, an interactive prototype tested with real users to evaluate its effectiveness and usability.
